Please Welcome Becki Parr, TRU Volunteer Coordinator
Please join us in a sharing a warm welcome to Becki Parr,
our new addition to the Volunteer Services team! Becki comes to TRU from
Compassionate Hospice Care where she served as the Volunteer Coordinator since
2017. Becki has diverse experience in the nonprofit arena and has a grand sense
of humor. She is “Mom” to three boys ranging from 5-11 years, Isaac, Asher, and
Simon. Fun Fact: In March of 2022 it will be 8 years since I moved to Arvada,
Colorado and it will be officially the longest place I have ever lived. I
have moved from Maryland to Georgia to Maryland to Texas to Iowa to Texas to
California (met my husband and had 2/3 of my kids) and moved to Colorado (where
Scott is from and 1/3 of my kids). It is good to call here, home.
TRU Blood Drive
We still have a few open time slots for our upcoming blood
drive on Thursday, September 16 between 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Please sign up today to
secure your spot! This is open to TRU staff and volunteers, but not to the
public. Feel free to contact Jen Thomas with any questions.
MASK Mandate
Starting
Friday, 9/3/21 at 5 p.m., Boulder County will reinstate an indoor mask mandate
in all indoor public spaces. It will apply to all people aged 2 and older,
regardless of vaccination status.
