to change your status. If you remain
with an active assignment, PLEASE REFER TO COVID-19 OPT IN protocol
(include your pt/fm health screening information in your visit documentation)
and submit your Personal Health Screening Form for each corresponding visit.
Grief Support Group Facilitators: Virtual
hosting groups have been piloted through the Zoom platform with great success.
The response was very positive as folks are experiencing feelings of isolation
and disconnection. Regularly scheduled group sessions will continue to be
offered through Zoom. Thank you so much to the volunteers who offered to pilot
the new format last week and in upcoming groups! April’s Newly Bereaved Group
and an 8 Week Group are in the planning. Response so far has been very good for
the Newly Bereaved Group and fair for the 8 Week Group. We are very grateful to
our Volunteer Group Facilitators for supporting those bereaved in our
community. We are definitely all in this together!
Care Center: The Care
Center has started limiting visitors to 1 visitor per patient per day. In the event there is a compassionate
visit need, 2 visitors will be permitted per day for that patient. Prior to
visiting the Care Center, visitors are screened by LUH and the Care Center
team. There is now a tablet at the Care Center that can be used to facilitate
Zoom visits with family members who are unable to visit for any reason.
